I’m not sure how meta it is to discuss tumblr on tumblr, but I will nonetheless: Not totally happy with Tumblarity and agree with Gawker that it could ultimately drive away more people than it will attract. One the reasons I slowed down blogging recently was I had become a little tired of the tumblr culture that I had become overly interested in. Although I enjoy reading and browsing the thoughts of others, it is much like the problems that the internet’s aggregation and syndication bring about: if every one is reproducing, who is actually producing?
